a thousand blind monkeys could do better

This keychain tool kit that I forgot was still attached to my carabiner was deemed unacceptable for me to have on my person by the Nashville branch of the Thousands of Sexual Assaulters due to its 1.375" knife, and was therefore confiscated from me at the security checkpoint for the airport (sorry, Weer’d).

However, at both Nashville and SeaTac airports, this solid stainless steel pen (that could never hurt/kill anyone) was allowed through without [...]

so what did you do this weekend?

I had the distinct privilege of finally meeting the guy who used to guest write here and currently runs Guns, Cars, and Tech along with his current guest author, meeting Gremlin and his staff, Oleg Volk, meeting Chris from Archangel Industries (who apparently makes shiny kydex holsters, including clear OWB ones, which is an interesting thought indeed), shooting a hell of a lot of guns that were not all mine with ammunition that was not [...]

Tactical Response over in Camden is selling [...]

we stand with gibson

Unfortunately, we have other plans, but if you are in the Nashville region on the 8th and have some free time, I would strongly recommend attending the We Stand With Gibson rally and free concert between 1400 and 1600 at the Scoreboard Restaurant. I do not know their names, but apparently both Eric Lee Beddingfield and Grant Austin Taylor will be performing.

And if, for some reason, you believe that the Gibson situation has [...]

atlas wandered off

Despite being the ninth-most-requested city on the list, “Atlas Shrugged” is not coming to Knoxville.

Bleh.

Hopefully it will be out on DVD soon.
