I am not a perfectionist – just ask my wife – but I have an annoying tendency to want to do things right the first time, and not getting it right frustrates me.  This despite the reality that, if I have no experience doing something, I cannot exactly do that something particularly well.

testing the waters

Is there a market for a nicer, prettier, leather version of something like this?  Instead of being MOLLE-mounted, it would be on a shoulder strap, or maybe even belt loops, and would operate on the same basic principle.  It seems hunters are more fond of pouches that hold whole boxes of shells as they are, rather than in little loops, but not being a hunter, I am not sure what would be preferred.

bullet carrying

So I have the Smith and Wesson 686SSR, I have the belt, I have a kickass holster (that I need to photograph and review in the near future), I have the starting loader and speedloaders*, and I even have the ammunition… what I do not have are holders for the speedloaders.

So, any suggestions for IDPA-legal speedloader holsters? On the one hand, I prefer the "belt-loop-behind-the-holder" style for speed/repeatability (rather than the thread-the-belt-through-the-bullets style, [...]

For not being a terribly handy individual, I seem to be on something of a roll these days.

First, it was my ammo can shelves (Note: these shelves will not accommodate Cabela’s dry boxes, given that they are significantly larger than .50 caliber ammunition cans. I am sure the design could be jiggered to work with the dry box dimensions, though.).
