Does anyone have any recommendations for a good gun store in / near Macon, GA that (a) offers an introduction to pistols course and/or Georgia Weapons Carry License training, (2) rents guns for the same, and (iii) preferably is not encumbered by the "oh, just give her a .38 snubby" sexism so rampant at gun stores these days? A little not so-friendly rivalry between competitors? Say it ain’t so. In case there was any question, Coal Creek Armory claims to meet and/or exceed the requirements set forth by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1025. As for Frontier Firearms’… "request"… Wow. Just wow.
The Kingston branch of Coal Creek Armory is now open for business at 798 Gallaher Road. Despite talking with the President of CCA about their new location and discussing the research they did before opening it (traffic loads on the road, customers at the nearby range, etc.), I still have some reservations, but time will tell.
