So apparently the White House has gone and released a photo of Our Glorious President, Barack Hussein Obama, allegedly shooting some skeet; no mention was made of whether or not he actually managed to hit them. Whatever. Given Obama’s long and sordid history of being anti-firearms, this is rather like a racist individual claiming to have black friends, and in that vein, I never would have even bothered to comment on this…
… If [...]

Unless you are prepared for a veritable skyscraper of text (over 9,000 words) and a serious airing of grievances, you should probably go ahead and plan on skipping this post.
That disclaimer dispensed with, here is how it is. Over the past few years, Robert Farago – the editor of The Truth About Guns – has functionally leeched off of, exploited, stabbed in the back, maligned, abused, lied about, misrepresented, stolen from, and infringed upon [...]

So here is how it is.
A website called “Smoke & Thunder” appeared out of the firmament about a week ago and started hijacking names and reputations of pro-rights webloggers in order to provide a good, firm footing of astroturf for this upstart site. When challenged on this dickish and generally frowned-upon behavior, the mind behind “Smoke and Thunder” engaged in personal attacks against those who dared to question it. And, finally, when taken [...]

I never thought I would be writing a post as… bizarre… as this one, but I guess it just goes to show how cheap access to the Internet has become, given the types of backbirths exposing their idiocy to the world on it.
This does not appear to be an issue yet (I guess I am just not that important of a gunblogger), but just to make myself clear and start this post off [...]

… Is an empty threat.
Around about a week ago, Jason A. Kilgore (aka "Baldr Odinson", his anti-rights alter-ego*) threatened Miguel of Gun Free Zone with legal action if Miguel did not take a picture down that he was using in accordance with fair use, and upon which Jason has no claims to copyright. Yeah. Wrap your head around that one.
After the initial back-and-forth where Jason clearly showed he did not have a clue [...]

By now, regular readers of my weblog should be familiar with the name “Baldr Odinson” – that spineless, dishonest, cowardly troll who so very much hates it when his own methodologies and tricks are used against him (speaking of, I need to put his poll back up at some point). Regular readers of the pro-rights community would also be aware that Baldr Odinson condoned, if not outright supported, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence’s vicious, [...]

… Or Reddit will expose your dickery to the world, along with some supporting fire from Something Awful (link probably NSFW, but you should know that from the name).
The original complaint is on Facebook, but the short story boils down to "Robert Farago is an inveterate thief", or, in his own words:
We used the photo under Fair Use provisions. We do so with thousands of pictures per year. If you’re the [...]
