I will freely – and proudly – admit that I did not watch Obama’s pontificating to the American public this morning. I may be unemployed, but I definitely have better things to do.
I will likewise admit that I have not read a great deal of aftermath recapping or reporting… and my blood pressure thanks me for that.
That said, from my admittedly limited point of view, it would appear to me that […]
A lot of people whinge about how useless Twitter is and what a waste of time it is, and, generally, they are probably right; however, personally, I have been using it as an exercise to try and condense my normal, verbose writing style, with occasional success. For example, I never would have written something nearly as concise as this on this weblog:
Apparently Vice President Joe Biden thinks women are too stupid […]
… Because I could not and would not bring myself to obey the orders of a Commander-in-Chief who has decided he can arbitrarily murder American citizens without benefit of due process, trial by jury, or any other quaint, Constitutionally-protected rights.
I am quite serious about that. Were I still active duty today, I would be drawing up my resignation paperwork and submitting it for the earliest date my contract would allow.
So apparently the White House has gone and released a photo of Our Glorious President, Barack Hussein Obama, allegedly shooting some skeet; no mention was made of whether or not he actually managed to hit them. Whatever. Given Obama’s long and sordid history of being anti-firearms, this is rather like a racist individual claiming to have black friends, and in that vein, I never would have even bothered to comment on […]
You may not know this, but one of the ways Traction Control pays the bills is by running an FFL; this is his stock level from nine days before Election Day to 51+ days after:
Yeah, he is basically out of ammunition.
One can only assume that his numbers are fairly representative of what transpired at other FFLs, accessory companies, and firearm-related stores across […]
I do not agree with the Roman Catholic Church on… well… a lot of things, but I find this commercial absolutely fascinating:
Our Glorious President has never really placed a whole lot of emphasis on appeasing the religiosity types (at least, when it comes to Western religiosity types… if you happen to wear a cloth wrapped around your head or believe marrying prepubescent girls is a-ok, he is all about keeping […]

Just take a look at this conversation:
@willspencer: Most "Libertarians" want Obama to win, because they are angry at America. @RedheadAndRight @glennmw @KurtSchlichter @tnacgal
@linoge_wotc: I assume this was sarcasm. RT @willspencer Most "Libertarians" want Obama to win, because they are angry at America.
@willspencer: Unfortunately, no. Instead, it is an honest evaluation of what I am seeing. @linoge_wotc [Note: Tweet successfully Memory Hole’d. Replicated from […]
I do not know who the speaker is, and I do not know whose horrific idea this was*, but this aired on the big screens during the recent Democrat National Convention:
We are committed to all people. We do believe you can use government in a good way. Government is the only thing we all belong to. We go to different churches, different clubs, but we’re together as a part of our city […]
… Because now I am seriously considering acquiring a “real” AK-pattern firearm just because I can (and, no, Vera does not count; she may look the same, but damn).
So what brought about this sudden interest? Only Our Glorious President mouthing off and proving himself to be the petty “gun control” authoritarian we always knew him to be:
“I – like most Americans – believe that the Second Amendment […]
If Our Glorious President is simply going to will into existence the laws he wants – laws that are directly in violation of the standing laws of the land, laws that were not voted upon by our duly-elected Congress, and laws that directly harm our nation and its lawful residents – then why do we bother having a Congress at all?
More to the point, if our elected representatives allow […]
It is a long-accepted fact that the media – especially "print" media, whether it is actually on newsprint or in bytes – is generally a water-carrier for the anti-rights cultist organizations of America and abroad. The documentation is lengthy and comprehensive, and the only people really arguing the point are those organizations themselves and those who are already known supporters and sycophants of the same.
Moving right along, […]
If I ever had the misfortune of paying to be taught about Constitutional law by the now-President Barack Hussein Obama, I think I would be demanding a refund:
The president spoke at length about the case at a joint press conference with the leaders of Mexico and Canada. The president, adopting what he described as the language of conservatives who fret about judicial activism, questioned how an "unelected group of people" could […]
