And by “you”, I mean “everyone”.
Of late, I have not been wasting my time with the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence Ownership; after all, what kind of impact can a blatantly bigoted, anti-rights organization and its all-of-four bigoted, intolerant, narrow-minded, antagonistic, hateful members make except cyberstalking, bullying, and threatening pro-rights activists? The dustbin of history does not wait for them – it has already gathered them up and disposed of them, despite their [...]
Say, for the sake of argument, that you are in charge of a fairly small, unpopular non-profit organization that has dedicated itself to fighting against and with a massively larger organization on the other side of your ideological fence. Say you have been faced with a series of major and minor defeats across the country – both in courts and in legislatures – and say that the preponderance of public opinion is slowly turning against [...]
A little over a month ago, I made the following comment in response to the "gun violence" candle-light vigils anti-rights cultists held and attended:
One interesting side-effect from not making this distinction is that by holding their candle-light vigils for “victims of ‘gun violence’”, the Brady Campaign and their sycophants are, by definition, memorializing those murderers, rapists, thieves, muggers, robbers, home-invaders, and other scumbags who were shot down in self-defense by their intended victims, [...]
Oh, look, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence is intentionally violating a photographer’s copyright.
Color me surprised.
No, not really. "Gun control" extremist organizations have a long-standing history of violating copyrights in their unending crusade to demonize and dehumanize firearm owners and carriers, which bring us back to an interesting point that comes up time and time again: if you do not respect one individual right – such as the right to self-defense [...]
Being somewhat goofy looking, having a non-symmetrical face, possessing the stereotypical pasty-whiteness of my ethnic background, and so forth, I generally try to refrain from making fun of people for the way they look.
The way they dress, however? Well, that is entirely a matter of choice, and while I have no shortage of appreciation for outlandish styles and resurrected trends (well, except anything from the ’70s), even I have to draw the line [...]
Courtesy of AuricTech, and putting his own words into action, we have what is probably the most-perfect graphic documenting the recent absurd, and hilarious, display of incompetence on the part of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence:
The giggles from resulting from this gaffe on their part are going to be long-lasting and hearty, trust me…
To keep up with the “maybe I should write new posts today” theme, does everyone remember how Ladd Everitt got the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence’s Twitter feed shut down for harassing, bullying, abusing, trying to intimidate, and “outing” pro-rights webloggers? That was a pretty impressive display of incompetence, right?
Well, how incompetent would you have to be to allow the domain registration for the CSGV’s webpage to expire? Pretty damned incompetent:
Well, this is a first for my humble little weblog:
Yup, that (item number 8, specifically) is the picture of the email I sent to Twitter regarding the CSGV’s harassment, intimidation, and "outing" of pro-rights webloggers being used as a source for the Wikipedia page on the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.
Long-time readers will be familiar with my remarkably dim view of Wikipedia, but I am fairly certain this marks the [...]
Why do I so adamantly fight “gun control” supporters almost whenever and wherever possible, even when they harass me and implicitly threaten my family and me?
Why have I taken to calling those individuals “anti-rights cultists”?
Conveniently enough, those two questions have the same answer, provided in a as he quotes from Guns, Democracy, and the Insurrectionist Idea*:
Recognize Insurrectionism as a threat to the entire progressive movement. Too many political progressives [...]
… But I am proud to have been the one to stand up and point it out.
[2330 18MAY11 Update]
Since it has come to my attention that the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence has seen fit to further viciously and maliciously lie about my behavior in this incident on their Facebook page, I thought I would set the record straight. Below is a screencap of the email I sent Twitter:
While the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence is undeniably irrelevant, I still believe it is important to keep tabs on what they, and their followers/members, think of pro-rights activists throughout the country, if only to better gauge the desperation of the anti-right cultists – the organization closest to being sucked into the wastebin of history is also likely to be the most hysterical, in both definitions of that word.
In any case, in September [...]
And any of the four people who work for that bigoted, anti-rights organization – Michael K. Beard, Joshua Horwitz, Ladd Everitt, or Manda Kelley – may feel welcome to come forward and provide an answer; unlike them, I do not only accept comments from people who agree with me.
The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence’s mission statement, as published on their webpage, is, and I quote:
The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence seeks [...]
It would appear as though Ladd Everitt and the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence has devolved from threatening a man’s family over a difference of opinions, to threatening multiple pro-rights webloggers’ families (including mine now) over differences of opinion.
What do these anti-rights bigots hope to achieve with their kindergarten-grade "outing" and cyberstalking of pro-rights webloggers? Are they so stupid as to think that naming us will somehow stop us from continuing to stand up [...]
Helpful hint to Michael K. Beard: giving Ladd Everitt the keys to the Twitter account for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence* might have been the worst idea ever, unless, of course, you want your organization to look increasingly worse every day.
In the very recent past, Ladd has directly attacked a "gun violence" survivor for daring to speak from experience, he has expressed his bigotry for the entire world to see (through your [...]
As a reminder to my readers, the word “bigot” generally means, “a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs”. This behavior is generally identified by a person’s refusal to accept or even acknowledge any information, facts, or figures that contradict or disprove their personal opinions; an overwhelming desire to dominate a conversation through the use of carefully-crafted insults, [...]
