“The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people;that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent,... or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of the press.”

Another person I know on the intertubes – and a little in person, too – has accomplished the rather impressive task of taking an idea from nebulous form to printed (at least digitally) word, this time in the form of Take The Star Road. Peter, the proprietor of Bayou Renaissance Man has been working on this story for quite some time, and the initial reviews (I have not had a chance to read it yet) look rather promising.

And, really, military scifi for all of $3? What is not to like? Especially since apparently no one has any clue what they will do without me to entertain them…
