No, this weblog will not be participating in the "National Day of Blogger Silence".
As I have already expressed at other sites, people who participate in that non-event (how can it be an "event" if you do not do anything?) are giving convicted-bomber-and-now-political-terrorist Brett Kimberlin and his despicable supporters exactly what they want – yet another conservative / libertarian / anti-authoritarian / individualistic weblog silenced and suppressed, only this time, you are doing their work for them.
Frak that noise, or lack thereof. If someone wants to go all Fahrenheit 451 on this weblog, they are going to have to do it the old-fashioned way; I will be damned if I save them the effort.
But that is just me.
So instead of throwing up the white flag, even if only for a day, I would suggest that you all just keep on doing what you have been doing – apparently it has been working, in that those who would see us silenced are getting more abusive, more aggressive, and more obvious in their borderline violent attempts at doing so. However, in addition, take some time to read up on the situation – this could end up affecting us all, if we let it.

I just noticed that Brett Kimberlin’s wikipedia page is back up. You could link to that.
Day of silence?
What you talking about?
Like that silence thing is going to happen…especially considering the reason…Let us ALL give into terroristic thugs..that’ll work..
@ Standard Mischief: I hit up The Blaze’s documentation of his history… seemed to provide a bit more detail on “controversial” matters.
@ maddmedic: Unfortunately, for more than a few webloggers, the silence did happen, and I certainly cannot say as though I understand.
