A lot of people have been making a lot of noise about how Our Glorious President, Barack Hussein Obama, has failed to accomplish much of anything in his first term as President of the United States of America. I am going to buck the libertarian/independent trend here for a moment, and actually defend President Obama – he has accomplished all kinds of things.
• First President to Preside Over a Cut to the Credit Rating of the United States Government
• First President to Violate the War Powers Act
• First President to Orchestrate the Sale of Murder Weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels
• First President to issue an unlawful "recess-appointment" while the U.S. Senate remained in session (against the advice of his own Justice Department).
[...]
• First President to Sign a Law Requiring All Americans to Purchase a Product From a Third Party
And those are just the "high" points – the whole list contains 36 accomplishments that no other President before Barack can claim.
Once again, we got the government we deserved… and the government we wanted.

Who’s “we”?
I didn’t vote for that douche, and it’s not my fault I’m outnumbered by welfare drones, union stooges and others with looser grasps on reality.
But otherwise, yeah, I guess that is why he deserved that Noble Prize.
Every morning I look over your blog and appreciate your service to our medium (Blogoshere and Podcasting). That said I do not like President Obama and believe that he as well as Bush should be held to account for their many violations of the U.S. Constitution. That said I should point out some errors in your list.
The U.S. has had it’s credit rating down graded four times and has defaulted on it’s debts in the past the last President to preside over a Credit downgrade was Carter, Prior to that Roosevelt.
As for the War Powers Act every president since Truman has violated that. From Korea to Vietnam, Somalia and Kosovo to the current operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, North Africa and beyond.
Since the end of the Vietnam War, the United States has been selling surplus arms to many nations. Usually this is nations such as Brazil, The Philippians, Chad, Pakistan and today Mexico. We currently sell them M-16A2, M-249, M-60, M-240B and M-2 weapons systems. For vehicles we sell F-5 Freedom Fighters, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, a and HMMWVs: M1090, M1114, M1125.
With the knowledge of most AGs since Robert Kennedy the knowledge that these are routinely stolen or sold from Mexico’s armories. Depending on the political climate this has increased and decreased. the lowest level of this in the last twenty years was during the Clinton administration after the adoption of NAFTA.
Roosevelt during his second term also used recess appointments and some other tactics that allowed for him to stack the deck in his favor. Also keep in mind that FDR changed VPs like you and I change underwear.
As to your last point it is very valid. I would also point out that Obama did very publicly murder a US citizen with out due process and signed a law that vacates six of the first ten amendments to the constitution. I am a Marine, Oath Keeper, History Teacher and a Podcaster and appreciate all that you do for the cause of promoting truth. Keep it up!
@ Ted N: “We” is a relative term in America and in general, and goes back to encompass all those people who allowed other people to vote themselves money from the largess of the government. As many people rightly observed in the past, our American experiment would last until that started happening.
@ Ryan: First, it is not my list, so if you have any corrections to it, feel free to take them to the originator. Second, I will have to get back to you for the rest, but in reference to the “sale of firearms to Mexico”, that is specifically referencing the disastrous “Fast and Furious” program, as the link clearly indicated. No previous President attempted such a program in such a bone-headed fashion. Additionally, Obama’s appointment was not a “recess appointment”, simply because the Senate was in session.
