Dear Captain Murphy,
You suck and we hate you.
Sincerely,
Me.
That out of the way, as you all know, most of the winners for the Soldiers’ Angels Fundraiser and Giveaway were announced yesterday, and congratulations to all of them. While a certain package from CKRT was still lost in the nether between them and me, I did not want to draw out the drawing (har har) any longer than it had already been, so I decided to press on and go with it.
Predictably, the package arrived today.
Said package included a Columbia River Knife and Tool M16-13Z Zytel Folding Knife, designed by Kit Carson, including an AUS4, spear-point, combo-edge blade, CRKT’s proprietary AutoLAWKS locking mechanism, a carry clip, and an easy to use flipper. It feels like a pretty beefy knife to me, and could easily be a decent Every Day Carry tool.
Oh, and ticket 256 won it. Congratulations!

I actually have one of those, pre-autoLAWKS. I have a manual LAWKS system on mine.
well that’s a nice round number, imagine that. . .
@ cspradlin: Seemed like a decent knife, and the LAWKS system is a good way to keep it open, something folders have always had a problem with.
@ lucusloc: I see what you did there…
