Alright, if you were one of the lucky winners in the Soldiers’ Angels Fundraiser and Giveaway, and I was responsible for your prizes, they are in the mail:
Sorry for the delay, but consider yourself lucky that one of those “helpers” did not end up in a box to someone… Though, speaking of, if I crossed my wires somehow and you got something you were not supposed to, or did not get something you were supposed to, please let me know. I lack a dedicated shipping department, and those little grey blurs do not help.
If your prizes were coming directly from a manufacturer/dealer, they should already be in touch with you; if not, please let me know.
Once again, I would like to thank Dragon Leatherworks, Michael’s Custom Holsters, Crimson Trace Corporation, Militec, Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT), Elzetta, FlipSide, Armory Racks, DIPSTIX, Sean Sorrentino, Say Uncle, and Empty Mags for supporting this fundraiser with awesome prizes, and thank our donators for giving so much money to Soldiers’ Angels. I dare say this half-baked idea of mine was a success!

As always, there’s an appropriate xkcd strip for this post.
Linoge,
A shout out to the folks at Armory Racks. Got your email stating I had won it about 60 minutes before I got the email from Armory Racks saying they would try to get it out.
30 minutes later, got the notice that it was in the mail. 5 days later it arrived.
Prompt & fast service from those folks.
The rack is really nice. Now all I need is a safe to put it in.
Thanks for all the hard work you and your helpers put in on this; it is greatly appreciated.
@ AuricTech: Bwahah! I had forgotten about that one, but it definitely seems about right for the situation
.
@ Bob S.: Very good to hear that Armory Racks’ service was that outstanding – they seemed remarkably on-the-ball in our communications before the giveaway, and I appreciate they got it out to you that quickly.
… Even though it made me look bad in the process
.
The rack will, of course, work just fine on a shelf, too
, and I plan on dropping it into a deep drawer… but I need to procure a safe as well, in the near future. Should have a post up about that in a few days, in fact.
Mine like to “help” me cook. It makes for good situational awareness practice.
Gotta keep their staff fit, after all…
fantastic MHI East TN patches– they will make it onto my multi-cam deployment hat. It you are good I will send a pic back to you
Thanks for the fast shipping
I would really, really appreciate that
.
