– Yes, I know the government is going to show itself to be staffed and run by fear-driven, self-absorbed children should an emergency like that ever arise, and, yes, I know society is going to pretty much implode along the way; I do not watch movies for reality, and given that this one lacked anything approximating "suspense", "mystery", or "intrigue" (simply because it was such a believable foreshadowing), the best I can say is "meh".
I believe I heard the movie summarized as “Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your m@$#*&%!ing hands.”
“meh” is better than what I had to say about it…
Phase 7. Message is, government will not help you, the neighbor with the gun and food may be (is) a good guy, the unprepared ones may not be your friends, and have spare supplies, as you may not have a neighbor like that. I wanted his locked room.
Its set in Argentina, by the way, so its either dubbed in English or Spanish with subtitles. Other lesson, get your SO to keep her yap shut about what you may or may not have.

@ Heather: Well, to be fair, I watch SciFi channel movies, so it certainly was not the worst thing I have seen.

Some of it was filmed in Western Springs,a suburb of $hitcago, in the great Peoples Republic of Illinois.
Hm. Sadly, I do not think that excuses, or explains, the general “blah” nature of it
