I’m taking my son to see TSO next week. He begged me last year to take him, but finding ear plugs that small that he would have worn for the whole show was impossible. When i started teaching him to shoot and he began to spend more time warchimg me compete, i took him to an audiologist and jad custom plugs made -so we’re go for loud concerts
He’s 6 and can sing every word to every track from Nightmare.
I am a huge fan of TSO. This year will be six years in a row. We are blessed to see them 3 times this year. WF, Tx and OKC, OK. We have floor seats for all three shows. Go see them. Best stage show in the business.
Though, seriously, if you at all enjoyed Beethoven’s Last Night, you need to pick up the rest .
@ Skulls: It warms my heart that some people in this country are raising their kids right…
It is quite the show, and I can pretty much guarantee both you and he will enjoy every minute of it.
@ David, Chandler, AZ: Envious, I am. Also, take a fire extinguisher – with the amount of propane they go through in those shows, the 3rd row might need it!
@ John Hardin: Going for the classics, I see… well, Elfman is Elfman .
@ Martin Goodman: Damn. I am really envious of you… But, yeah, after having seen Blue Man Group, Nickelback, Saliva, Dave Matthews Band, and TSO live, the latter takes the cake, hands down.
random quotes
“These Sarah Brady types must be educated to understand that because we have an armed citizenry, that a dictatorship has not happened in America. These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to Liberty than street criminals or foreign spies.” by Theodore Haas
Have you seen TSO live?
If you haven’t, I’d highly recommend it. Seen them in Nashville the last two years and it’s once of the best stage shows I’ve ever seen.
Unfortunately, the closest they’ll be to me, or you, this year is Greenville SC, Memphis or Atlanta.
Never liked Tim Burton, and the only TSO album I have is Beethoven’s Last Night…

You’ve got to get the rest of them!
The “Beethoven’s Last Night” tour is in 2012 (I haven’t found a list of tour cities yet).
Good call.

I’ve got 3rd row seats to one of TSO’s upcoming concerts in Phoenix.
I prefer Dead Man’s Party and Noone Lives Forever, personally.

@ Lynn H: Yup. And if I have a say, we are going to see them again sometime. Probably not this year, though, unfortunately.
@ bluesun: Sacrilege! Heathen! I cast you out!
