All the “Occupy Weimar Strasse” those Nz-Germans really wanted was a little Reichstag fire and some Kristallnacht thrown in for focus, and to take the pressure off their Black-Bloc/Brown-Shirt gruppen. Can’t have those guys wandering around in Guy Fawkes Masks with nothing to do…they start fires.
I was more referring to the attempted German occupation (and attempted French occupation, and attempted…) of Russia, but, yeah, the analogy/comparison is far from perfect.
