While it probably is an accurate thing to say, I really cannot say as though I am overly fond of that particular attitude… In addition to definitely not helping our public relations, it is simply the wrong answer for the situation.
Yeah… anyone who told me they could “get everything they need” in that sense would be welcomed at gunpoint, condition 0 if they came anywhere near my place in a disaster, with a potential upgrade to “shoot on sight” if they came armed.
Pretty much my take on that perspective, too, weambulance, and I seem to recall Mad Ogre catching a world of flak for taking that position himself.
