A good start

The judge who was paid send kids to detention facilities rather than the more appropriate fines, probation, or community service has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.

He got a little over $1 million and sent 5,000 kids to the facilities. 4,000 of those kids’ records have been cleared, but they will never get the time back.

  • I dunno if it’s a good start – there are so very many judges. But it certainly is surprising.

He should have gotten life. I hope he gets met by his victims when he gets out and they have a trailer load of tar and feathers. He deserves real punishment.

    28 years?
    TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS?!?!?!?!
    That’s it?
This bastard should have gone down for one count of kidnapping for EACH OF THEM!!!

This guy was nothing short of a slave trader. I agree with Cormac when he says that he ought to have been charged with ~4,000 counts of kidnapping. Nevertheless I am happy that he is in jail.

It sucks hes like 61 though, he’ll probably only serve a fraction of that.
