It has been a little while since we did one of these, and since there appears to be interest, I guess it is time!
I am thinking either 05MAR11 (next weekend) or 12MAR11 (the one after that), and starting the day at Coal Creek Armory when their range opens (1000), and then migrating over to one of the restaurants in the area (perhaps the new Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ that opened across I-40 from CCA) for lunch.
As always, all Knoxville-area bloggers and commenters (and even lurkers) would be welcome, and if sending lead downrange is not your thing, you can just meet us at the restaurant… Likewise, if you have never shot a firearm before, this would be an outstanding way to dip your proverbial toe in the proverbial pool, given that folks will probably bring all kinds of interesting things that you could borrow.
Les Jones and Say Uncle (schedule dependent) are currently onboard, and if you could not only spread the word to other bloggers/commenters in the area (I only have so many people’s emails), but also let me know which date would work best for you, I would appreciate it!

Sounds interesting. Barring the unforeseen, I should be able to make either day. Haven’t shot at CCA since before they renovated the range.
Might want to pick your date and then alert CCA so they can set aside a few lanes. Of course if you show up and have to wait a minute or two you might just go home with a shiny new gun or four.
