playing dress-up

It is a sad world we live in when Think Geek is bubbling over itself with glee at finding toy replicas of movie props that actually resemble the props in question, rather than looking more like rainbow-throwing happy-makers.

The really stupid thing, though? Given a little time, a little fiddling, and a little effort, anyone inclined to do so could, relatively easily, produce a fully-functional firearm that very closely resembles this nerfed-out travesty (aside from the magazine, at least). So what, exactly, was the point of that atrocious color scheme, again, much less Bloomberg’s idiotic crusade against decorated firearms? Oh, right, to do something rather than actually combat criminals… oh well – some folks are laughing all the way to the bank, and if it were not for my already-lengthy wishlist and sad bank account, I would be helping them do so.
