From TFA Email Alert:
As expected, Gov. Bredesen has vetoed HB3125/SB3012 proclaiming once again that guns and alcohol do not mix. Apparently, like our US Attorney General commenting on Arizona’s law recently, he did not read the bill.
TFA expects this to move forward swiftly with a veto override.
TFA’s Nashville chapter is meeting Tuesday night, May 18, with Sen. Doug Jackson and I am sure this will be a topic of discussion. Those who can attend, should!

Gotta give the guy credit – vetoing a bill from China is not something every governor of these great States of ours would actually do.
The guy is still a spineless nitwit unwilling to stand up for individual rights or a person’s ability to defend themselves, but at least he is dedicated to being a spineless nitwit.
I still can’t see how or WHY an elected official would ever comment on a bill they didn’t read in the information age where anybody anywhere can download a PDF of the bill and read it themselves.
Well we’ll get the answer come election season, I guess.
