Not that it will make a difference to… really… anyone, but this webpage’s Twitter feed (@wotc_linoge) is now syndicated locally, through this webpage itself, by means of the WordTwit plugin. The downside is that TwitterFeed (the previous syndication system I used) included post excerpts, while WordTwit does not, but the upside is that the latter actually uses my domain for its shorter-link generation. For example, this post’s shortURL is “http://wallsofthecity.net/ey” rather than something through bit.ly or some other shortURL service. Greater exposure for domain names is always a good thing… Oh, and WordTwit pushes out the post-tweet immediately, rather than after a few minutes/hours with TwitterFeed, which I guess might matter to some people.

On something unrelated to this webpage, though, if you want to match a wall-paint color to an RGB code you know, EasyRGB has the answer. They seem to have databases of all of the major paint manufacturers’ inventories, and once you calibrate their server to your monitor, you can see just how closely a certain company’s various paints can match up to your desired color. So, basically, if you are looking for that perfect shade of hot fuschia to paint your bathroom, they can probably help you find it.
