defending our rights from the ramparts
Good kitties.
But, remember, there is absolutely no reason why someone would want to carry a firearm into a national park.
None at all.
What gun for Puma?
Not being a ballistics expert, I would think that anything larger than a .22 Win-Mag would be sufficient.
But, still, anything is damned better than nothing.
No, go bigger. Panthers are like leopards and jaguars– pure muscle. Buckshot is out, and I’d doubt even 12 ga slugs… I’d rather have something like a .30-06 or .308.
Because I want overkill if I have to face a cat that can drag a deer up a tree.
I was just talking bare minimum, Dixie – we all know the right answers to these kinds of questions is “as big as you can carry”.
And, remember, there is no such thing as “overkill” – there is “open fire” and “reload”.
