My friend Nikki Goeser went up to Ohio last week to talk to the Ohio House about restaurant carry there. It’s HB203 for any Ohioans out there (like my sister).
Here is the testimony:
“The law didn’t stop [the man that murdered Nikki's husband], but it sure stopped me [from stopping him].”
I don’t want to watch the video of her testimony–reading the transcript was upsetting enough. I am glad she was willing to relive the incident for our benefit, and I hope the bill passes both for her sake and mine. Thank you for reminding me to contact my state legislators about this.
I have heard her several times on Mark Walter’s Armed American Radio several times tell her story. She in my opinion is the icon of strength and determination. For she has taken a horrible event in her live and using it to change laws so it will not happen to another.
