Wow. That sucks. Of course, we have had a couple offers fall through because people other than us were blazing idiots too, so I sympathize. Hopefully they will unbone themselves tomorrow and you all can be homeowners soon after!
If we don’t close today, it’s gonna cost me about $1500 in penalties and delay-related expenses (like an extra month’s rent because the complex I live in doesn’t pro-rate). And I took a day off work yesterday so we could close.
The guy that suggested the mortgage broker I’m using is all butthurt because I’m pissed things aren’t going like they should.
