		<description>Oh, I would certainly grant that a multi-caliber, registered SBR lower would be far better than a somewhat gimicky barrel, but, as you mentioned, the premium on those lowers, in addition to the tax stamp, just gets annoying after a while.
And I am just fundamentally opposed to having to &lt;em&gt;pay&lt;/em&gt; for the ability to have a less-accurate, less-powerful rifle ;).

For an AR, the $200 SBR tax is a whole lot more versatile though.  There doesn&#039;t seem to be much of a premium though.
