2. When placing remarkably sharp, serrated bread knives in dishwater, remember they are there when you reach into the aforementioned water a few minutes later.

When i got married and my wife moved in i set some simple ground rules,
1. don’t hit me
2. toilet paper comes over the top
3. NEVER put knives in the sink.

second rule of working in a kitchen is “never put knives in the sink”
#1 is “dont try to catch a dropped knife”
Now that is one thing I never have or will do – catch a falling knife.
