Honestly, I think he will hold on to what he has - it is very hard to expunge someone's search engine rankings. That said, "Google-bombing" still works, and works quite well at that. We certainly can interject our own particular webpages into search engine returns when someone goes looking for MikeB302000.

To be perfectly honest, I was almost hoping he would return after I passed down that edict… Sure, I would be proven wrong, but it would also indicate that there was some shred of desire for honest debate left in him.
Unfortunately, his entire abandonment of commenting here has indicated well and truly that he does not honestly care about the conversation, he only cares about spreading his own version of reality as far and as wide as humanly possible, regardless of whether or not that reality is factual, honest, or supported by anything even approximating the truth.
I have no use for such people, but I certainly will allow them to expose themselves for what they are. I will not allow my paid-for webspace to be used as their own personal billboards, though.

Yep, you’ve been well ahead of the curve on this douchebag!
Also your policy to remove all his hyperlinks was a brilliant experiment. Despite his many claims to be interested in various goals, when his ability to draw traffic to his site disappears his desire to discuss any issue vanishes.
I had a similar event over at my place when Senator Kennedy died. He left some smug bullshit, and I deleted it, but kept a soft copy to re-post if he complained.
He didn’t say anything, and simply never commented again except for two nice comments when my wife was in the hospital (I’ll give him credit where it’s due).
I dumped one other comment in the pledge post, but I have received no further comments.
Pretty obvious what he’s doing. Is there any better reason to not go to his blog than the fact that he wants us to do just that?
