For today’s installment of blatant and outright bigotry, I give you yet another modified quote from our most-frequent repeat offender – none other than MikeB302000 himself. Again, as with the previous incarnations of this exercise, I will stress that the below blockquote is not a direct quote, but the core message of the comment remains the same:

Anyone who thinks blacks will someday be accepted everywhere is living in a dream world. I believe you when you say it’s already accepted in small towns, but I’d bet even there some people are shocked, either you don’t see them or they conceal the fact. The idea of gradually encroaching on the territory which finds this unacceptable and aiming for that utopia in which blacks can go anywhere, which is what I hear when I read these comments, to me is a little crazy. No offense intended.

The reason people are shocked is because it’s shocking behavior. In normal modern society, blacks are not necessary and are actually a major liability. So people who are shocked are absolutely right.

I urge you all to stop this insanity, get rid of the blacks and come over to our side before it’s too late.

Again, this is not a direct quote, and some words in the above blockquote have been changed – you may view the original comment here, but I challenge you to explain how changing the specific topic also changes the core message in the slightest. In fact, if you do believe that changing the vocabulary alters the message, perhaps you can answer a question of mine that no one has been willing or able to answer: how is discriminating against one right different from discriminating against another right?
To me, bigotry is bigotry, and discrimination is discrimination, and that is why, no matter the vocabulary used, the core message of comments like the one above is completely unacceptable.
