Sadly, the short-sale-with-the-pool we were pursuing fell through… but even without a pool, I so want one of these.
Completely useless, completely superfluous, completely nonsensical… but still pointlessly cool.

Out house had an old above ground pool. Total POS, but no matter, I don’t want to care for one of those damned things. I demolished it with a fire axe and a crow bar, and stuffed it in a dumpster we rented.
Plus those things kill people!
Personally, I can almost see the utility of a pool, especially around here in the summer… but I am definitely leaning more in the ‘hot tub’ direction. I think we have reached the conclusion that an in-ground pool is no longer a disqualifying feature of a house, but an above-ground may meet the same fate as your old one…
Even without a pool (or hot tub) that little machine would make bathtime quite fun!
