In my inbox this morning was an email from one of the client’s IT guys, regarding a script that I wrote to automate a silent install.
In the email, he says: “the highlighted line calls %temp%file.txt. How is that file getting to the Temp directory?”
The line he highlights?
copy /y programfile.txt %temp%file.txt
That’s right kids, he’s asking how copying a file to the temp directory makes the file be in the temp directory. And this is why I will always have a job.
…. wow. Just plain wow.
