Just got back from the most-recent iteration of G.I. Joe… So the whole “G.I. Joe” organization is now some multi-national task force, and while all-American heroes are part of it, so are all-French, all-British, and all-whatever-else soldiers as well. *twirls his finger*
More importantly, their aircraft do not have cockpit windows, but their submarines do… riddle me that?
Anywise, the good guys win (because they were mostly very good), the bad guys get pwned (because they were mostly very bad), the innocents get more-or-less saved, and there is an opening for a sequel. Call me simplistic, but that works.
If nothing else, there were some very interesting trailers before the movie.
