So Sarah Palin is apparently resigning from being Governor of Alaska, citing the facts that she is basically a lame duck, and not wanting to put people through the stupidity that is a lame-duck anything, and that the countless, baseless, and specious allegations and lawsuits against her have cost her family and her state too much.
*shrug* Ok. The first is a strange rationale, but I can understand the second, and who am I to tell a person that their choice is a wrong one, when there is no factual basis from which to determine an objective conclusion?
That said, the country’s reaction to this news has been… englightening. Hit up your favorite conservative webpages, and see what they have to say. Now dig up the libertarian websites. And now I dare you to go delving into the “progressive” sections of the cortex out there…
