I think I wrote about my experiences with Firefox back here somewhere. Suffice to say, never going there again. And, yeah, it may very well be. To which I honestly say, "Oh well."

Well, I’ve never had any problems with Firefox and I’ve been using Netscape since Windows 3.1, and I have had viruses that killed my machine – but not in the past few years.
Anyhow I still think “IE-For-the-Hungry” is an extortionist stunt.

Like I said, “potentially”.
As it is, I will be moving on (if you prefer that, instead) to IE8 regardless of whether or not M$ does their little feel-good project or whatever. After having Firefox (which was not actually running at the time) completley crash my computer one time, I will never again touch that particular program with a ten-foot pole. And despite using Windows/IE for the past 10+ years, I have never once suffered a virus or anything of the nature.
*shrug* If they do something good, good. If they do not, no skin off my teeth.

I mean, I guess, I just don’t see going over to IE* as any kind of “upgrade” whatsoever.

Heh – do you also believe Google “Does no evil?” IE8 will suck as bad as all the other MS products and be a magnet for hackers and slimeballs, as per usual – and how can it be shown that you’re demonstrably helping anybody, besides the people who handle the distribution – could be ACORN doing that…? I haven’t touched IE in years, there’s no reason to.

Eh, like I said, I am going to be upgrading to IE8 at some point… Might as well potentially help something good while I am at it.

Evil Scum!! I’ll believe it when I see it – like “Live Aid!” actually helped any freakin’ Africans besides some members of the Club for Dictators. This is just another “Pat my head make me feel good” gambit.
Besides they should send the food to the poor/needy/starving/no-X-Box-kidz FIRST, then request reimbursement – no strings attached and no strings on me. Firefox forever.
