There is something very wrong with a society wherein there is a multi-million dolar industry fabricating and transporting artificial rocks.

    Maybe you have not thought this entirely through. I don’t know exactly to what you refer, but presumably the business runs at least a slight profit, the workers get paid, the suppliers get paid, the truckers get paid, and trucking artificial rocks generates less terroristic greenhouse gas than trucking real rocks, which are damn heavy, especially in bunches.

  • I think you misunderstand my objection, Ritchie. When it comes to businesses making money, I have absolutely no problems with that whatsoever. If you can achieve the proverbial ideal of selling ice to Eskimos, then more power to you, and I wish you the highest profits and best of luck.
    But there is still something wrong with the Eskimos that buy the ice.
    That is all I am trying to say.
