On second thought, maybe I will not be attending AAC’s quiet little shindig… ever… on account of this.
The injuction appears to have been settled out of court, and the settlement is confidential and obviously agreeable to all parties, so we will never actually know the terms. Feel free to read the injuction for yourself – I will not dare to provide a Reader’s Digest version, for obvious reasons. However, as administrator of “walls of the city”, I will be instituting a new site-wide policy: from this time forward, neither Advanced Armament Corporation, nor its products, nor its employees (past, present, or future), nor its weblog, nor its forum, nor any events it puts on, nor anything else associated with that company will be discussed, linked to, graphically represented, or featured on this webpage. Any previous discussions, links, graphical representations, or features do not indicate author approval, endorsement, or backing of any AAC product/employee/etc.
Furthermore, speaking on a personal level, if I ever decide to pay one hell of a fee in order to enjoy shooting a firearm without the use of ear muffs, the silencer/suppressor I purchase will not be one constructed by Advanced Armament Corporation. I understand Surefire, Yankee Hill Machine, and Gem-Tech make high-quality products, and other options include AWC, Liberty Suppressors, SRT Arms, HTG Silencers, Quicksilver Manufacturing, and Tactical Innovations Inc..
The internets – they are serious business.
