And in another case of “if I had X”, one day, I will have a firearm I can take to this shindig, especially since it is basically in my back yard. I just have not gotten over the idea of paying the federal government $200 for the ability to safely use a firearm without ear muffs…

I mean, hell, when you think about it, all cars are mandated, by law, to have mufflers if they are on public roads. Likewise, why is it so unreasonable to put sound-dampening equipment on a firearm? The federal government should be all about safety and hearing preservation and whatnot…
