back to whoring myself

As some of my regular readers (both of you) might remember, I gave up on PayPerPost a while back, because the vast majority of offers in their system would not allow me to disclose, in the post, that it was a sponsored post. This did not sit well with me. I see absolutely nothing wrong whoring for, and making money off that whoring, products that I use, enjoy, and personally endorse without really disclosing that the whoring is going on, but when it comes ot whoring for products that I have never seen in my life before… then I want to make that disconnect clear
Yeah, a lot of the links I put up to Amazon or Brownells are “affiliate” links, in that the companies give me money if you click through those links and buy something at their sites. However, those links always point to either companies or products I approve of, use, support, and endorse myself, so it is a win-win scenario for all parties involved.
But whoring for a product I have never touched? Then I owe it to you, my readers, to make it clear that I really am just whoring myself for the cash, and that no endorsement is implied or stated.
Unfortunately, companies using PayPerPost to advertise their products stopped allowing me to make that disclosure in-post, so I stopped using the system.
Well, that was the case until recently. Now, I can once again disclose to you, my readers, when a post is 100%, straight-up whoring. Shiny.
This disclosure will come in two ways – first, any post in this category (“for hire“, for those not paying attention) should be assumed to be undendorsed whoring. Second, there will be some form of a “— This post sponsored by [insert name here.] —” comment at the end of the post. And that is about it.
Why do I whore myself out? Well, I have to pay for this webspace somehow, and given how fast I type, this is as good a way as any. Every man has his price… mine is just lower than most.
