remembering to regret

Carry your gun – it’s a lighter burden than regret.”
There is little I can add to that, except, “That is why I carry.”
What could be worse than having the will, the opportunity, and the intent to act to save someone else’s life, and lack the necessary tools and capabilities to do so effectively? Well, worse would be your government intentionally and willfully depriving you of those tools and capabilities, like the Indian government does (and like the District of Columbia, New York City, Kalifornistan, New Jersey, and other state and local governments do).
UPDATE: Doug Powers says it almost as well as Breda: “A gun is worth a thousand pictures.”
