Well, I think Mr. Mencken pretty much hit the nail squarely on the head. The sad thing is that we are one of the more advanced, more intelligent countries in the world, and yet we are bringing this doom upon ourselves... hell, we are demanding that it transpire. How stupid is that? The next year, much less the next four, is going to be a bumpy ride, there is no doubt about that.
