You know, rebuilding computers has gotten a lot easier over the years. Recovery CDs, driver CDs, recovery images, simpler builds, all the rest have made the eventual reconstruction of the digital aspects of your computer so very much easier.
However, maybe, just maybe, could we possibly cut down the update downloads from two days to something a little more manageable? ‘Cause, you know, I am on cable, and this is getting pretty gorramed ludicrous.
I guess this is what I get for trying to rebuild a seven-year-old box. Bleh.
In other news, I will simply reaffirm my previous assertion that Sony has the worst internal computer hardware architecture known to mankind. The worst. Bar none. Bloody thing is the bastard child of a rat’s nest and a Gordian Knot, only without the fun of hacking it up with a sword.
