Joe Wurzelbacher, a plumber from Holland, Ohio, told Mike Huckabee on his Fox News talk show Saturday that he is upset by the attention and has been unable to work with reporters crowded on his front lawn.
“The media’s worried about whether I’ve paid my taxes, they’re worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America,” Wurzelbacher told the former Republican presidential hopeful on his show, “Huckabee.”
…
“You know, when you can’t ask a question of your leaders anymore, that gets scary,” he said.
(Emphasis added.)
Once again, a “simple” plumber hits the nail squarely on the head (Sorry for the carpenting analogy, but I do not think there is an equivalent in the plumbing field… no idea, though.).
In reality, all he did was ask a relatively simple, reasonable, straightforward question – one that could be asked of any political candidate espousing similar ideas and plans. And then Senator Barack Hussein Obama said something he probably should not have. However, given that the Democratic candidate for President is, by definition, perfect, it must have been the questioner’s fault. And now, an average American is being destroyed, simply because he asked a question, and a political candidate answered it.
How is that right?
Simply put, it is not. What it is, however, is a brief glimpse through the public relations shielding, showing us exactly what a country led by Senator Barack Hussein Obama would be like.
The problem is, none of this is about Joe. None of it. Sorry, but he simply is not the star of this story. The problem is what Obama said to him – in that brief, transitory moment, Obama illustrated exactly what is so very wrong with him. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is simply unacceptable to his crew of religious zealots. So their reflexive reaction was to demonize an average American citizen, trying to shift the attention of the American populace away from what Obama said, and onto the perceived shortcomings of Joe… and boy are they trying hard.
But none of it matters. None of it. Joe could be a transvestite, heroin-shooting, car-jacking, bastard-child, welfare-queen, self-flagellating, sadomasochostic, cheating, lying, gerbil-swallowing hooker from the planet Zorplot… and none of that would matter. All he did was ask a question, the answer is what matters.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is a shape of things to come, and Joe himself realizes this. Questioning even a Presidential candidate has become a dangerous past-time – God alone knows what will happen to our freedoms if Senator Barack Hussein Obama actually succeedes.
