You know, the more I see it, and the more I watch the situation, the more I realize that John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for the position of Vice President was a purely masterful stroke.
And, amusingly enough, this realization has absolutely nothing to do with Palin herself... though she is quite a woman. Instead, this decision has granted the American populace a golden opportunity. For what, you ask? For seeing just how deranged, despicable, contemptible, viscious, and out-of-touch the radical left is. Behold the following qualities people of that sinister political leaning have exposed for us over the past few days:

This has progressed to the point where even the left's Messiah, Barack Hussein Obama, had to step in and smack these disgusting folks upside the head... which, when you get right down to it, is all manner of ironic. After all, these irresponsible scumbags are the same morons who are incessantly proclaiming Barack Hussein Obama's glorious splendiforousness. Stings a bit, hm?

Yep. The Left's reaction to Governor Palin has definitely been to combine all its typical vile behaviors into attacking one clear (and undeserving) target. None of the behaviors you note are new to the Left (heck, faux "conservatives" have often engaged in some of the same behaviors), and though all these behaviors are much more common on the Left, Governor Palin has become the lightning rod that makes the prevalence of such behavior on the Left perhaps a bit more obvious to the sheeple so eaily misled by the Mass Media Podpeople's Hivemind.
Anything that awakens--or even stirs to sleep walking--the slumbering herd can't be all bad...
Indeed... and these baseless, despicable attacks have only served to illuminate the real reason behind the left's actions - fear, which, when you get right down to it, is the undercurrent for most of their actions.
That said, I agree with you about getting the masses motivated... yet another aspect of the wonderful decision on the part of McCain.

The lefties have managed to do what I thought was impossible--rally the troops behind McCain.
Which, of course, is the exact opposite of what they wanted. Oh well... provide the conservatives a common enemy, and see what happens! :)
