can't take the sky from me

You know you might have watched too much Firefly when you see visitor hits from Beaumont, Texas, and accidentally read it as Beaumonde.

Yeah.... my coat is kinda a brownish color, actually.

This past Sunday eve the wife and I watched the last episode on the DVD set. Man, what a great show that was. Initially she was largely uninterested in watching the series as she is not really a sci-fi fan (she still has not seen the original three Star Wars movies). By the end, she was more disappointed than I that it had ended. I informed her that the bright side was we could now see Serenity, which prompted the question, "Are they working on more of those?" For her to be as big a fan of a science-fiction series says a lot for how well it was done.
Someday, when I find some free time, I will sit down and watch them all back-to-back.

Having lived in Beaumont, Tx. I can see how you would make the mistake. ;)

Congratulations on finishing Firefly, Shane, though it definitely is a bittersweet moment. Coincidentally, my wife was exactly the same way - completely uninterested in science fiction television shows, but I forced her to sit down and watch it (promising Nathan Fillion's bare rear might have helped... dunno). At the end of it, she asked where the rest of it was, I explained, and the sum of the conversation was, "Well, that's really just stupid." Exactly so.

Last I heard, there might be hope of a Serenity 2, but nothing official or decisive has been publicized yet.

And back-to-back is a blast... believe you me. I have not been able to do it all in one day yet (even I might have a hard time with that), but it flows beautifully.

And thanks, GM Roper... I was very, very confused for a few seconds, and then felt quite dumb afterwards ;).
