Via Jeff Sawyer at Alphecca comes a link to a great article at Naples Daily News by a woman named Vicki Crawford. She writes a fine piece on why gun control is so wrong, and the comments are great as well.
Choice quote: “To restrict him (the citizen) to something useless or to disarm him completely against a potential threat is just as criminal as some low-life sticking a gun in his face. And when Mr. Citizen becomes a homicide statistic, as far as I’m concerned, the folks that wanted such gun controls are as guilty of the man’s murder as the person who pulled the trigger.”
I liken this paragraph to Linoge’s great article from November last year “aiding and abetting criminals“. I’m hoping it’s not a total faux pas to link to the same blog…because this piece is a must-read if you haven’t seen it before.

I never commented on your original post so allow me to say now, that is some great stuff. I have not had a chance to go back through all your archives, but so far, that is my favorite piece.

As for the archives, as the author of them, I can honestly say that particular post is probably the best you will find in there. A bit long, and there are a few places I need to go back and do some edits, but it beats the socks off most of my stuff.
