A quick couple of questions for those of you inclined to answer:
First, if you use a DSLR, which one do you use, and why?
Second, what DSLR would you recommend to a DSLR newbie who has been taking digital pictures for about 6 years now and has a decent-ish understanding of most of the manual-setting type things (like ISO, aperature, exposure, shutter, etc.), and the desire to keep body+lens under $750 (and under $500 if manageable)?
Like I said, they were quick. Not sure if I will actually be buying one, but I figure a little research certainly will not hurt the matter.
