Thankfully, Better Half and I escaped, though what should have been a three-ish hour drive took the better part of 8 with all of the other refugees on the roads. Fun. Better Half is currently with her sister, who also lives here, and I am at work for a bit until I can get out of here. We are already planning on heading back to the apartment, packing everything up we can, and leaving on our four-day vacation a day early. We will try to keep you all updated.
