Just thought I would share a few more things from the range.
First off, the best target I shot, point-wise. This is a 6 inch target at 25 yards (the red dot is about 7/8ths of an inch across).

Second, the best cluster I shot, disregarding that one random outlier. Again, 6 inch target at 25 yards. You can tell I still had not ironed out the specifics of my front sight’s alignment… the bloody tool was just too hard to fight with. Next time I go shooting I will take care of it.

All of these shots were taken on a standard range bench, set up on a bipod, and seated on a stool. Unfortunately, my posture was far from ideal – even with the 9-13 inch bipod extended all the way, I had to slouch to use it – but it accounts for why I shot even that well. Free-handing it against a man-sized target was… well… a little spread out.
Methinks with a little practice, this thing and I could be all manner of accurate, at least at the ranges I care about.
