Thank you for the explanation, Mr. Soyer. Just wanted to be clear, that is all. As I said, thank you for founding the “People of the Gun” webpage, and thank you for providing the links on it to my store. I certainly did not want to ruffle anyone’s feathers with my comments, especially considering the effort you have expended constructing the website and posting everyone’s pictures.
I really do not think Laura ever imagined this would be the kind of reaction to her words… maybe she will be more thoughtful in the future, as I should probably be with mine.

Believe me, Linoge, when I say that I have absolutely no interest in merchandising the People of the Gun logo. I did not mean to imply that you should not be selling items with your logo; I think it’s a great idea and I hope tons of people buy stuff from you and and wear it in public.
Laura Washington did all of us a favor by coming up with a truly clever phrase.
My only purpose was in explaining why I bought the domain name in the first place.

I think we have had a misunderstanding of where we both are going… When I use that phrase, I mean it more as a lamely-humorous, self-deprecating comment on the paucity of my current position, not any attack at or against you, whatsoever. I certainly appreciate that you took the time and effort (and money, yes) to reserve the domain name as a slap against Laura, as well as took the input of your fellow “People of the Gun” and started putting up their various pictures. Additionally, I also appreciate the fact that you linked to my CafePress store from the “People of the Gun” webpage.
That said, if you want me to provide you the originals of the images I made concerning “People of the Gun”, as well as whatever documentation would make you feel comfortable in selling items with that logo on them yourself, all you need to do is ask and I will do so. For me, it is definitely not about the money, and, in retrospect, since I have hosting for this webpage myself, I could have reserved the domain name just as easily as you. Regarding the store, however, I have never, once, made a profit off it. Yes, I have markups on the various items, but the markups are sufficiently low, and my sales rate is also sufficiently low, that I never recoup the $50/year necessary to have an “advanced” CafePress store. Honestly, due to the paltry actual showing of those interested in “People of the Gun” merchandise, I do not see this situation changing simply because of those designs.
So, like I said, if you want me to close the store and provide you the images so you can open one of your own, please let me know. Honestly, I was considering closing it when its term comes due in January, though now that I am providing “People of the Gun” merchandise, I will probably pay for another year. Regardless, I will stop using the “disposable income” phrase. It was not intended as an attack against you, nor a slight against you, nor anything of the nature, and I apologize that it seems to have been taken as such.

You've mentioned "someone with more disposable income" in a few posts now, so I'd like to make a few points: 1. It doesn't take a lot of disposable income to register a domain name. $15 bucks did it for me. Since I already have a web host for all my various blogs such as Alphecca and Colony: Alchbiah it cost nothing to add the new People of the Gun to it so hosting was free for me. 2. I registered the domain the same day Laura's article came out but announced it the following day because it usually takes 24 hours for a domain name to propagate through the various Internic Domain Servers -- those are the servers where browsers go to find the actual location of a site. 3. I registered the name because I liked it and especially because mine (Alphecca) was one of the two blogs mentioned by Laura in her article as examples of "People of the Gun." 4. Originally, I'd intended it as a joke -- a picture of me with a firearm tweaking Laura's nose. It was others in my comments that suggested the photo album format and I thought it a good one. 5. I've certainly given your Cafe Press endeavor a nice large spot at the top to help you sell your wares. I've not asked for anything in return. Both my site and yours are partners in fighting the stereotype of the anti-gun movement.

Well, I warned you a little while back that if you ever came here and commented, JG, you would be summarily banned… I am somewhat disappointed that you knew this was the case and still decided to write a comment that inordinately immature and childish, but that is your perogative.
No doubt you will use this banning as further evidence that the pro-Second-Amendment crowd is trying to silence you and your beliefs… such a statement would be an unmitigated lie in this particular instance, but I doubt that will stop you. You were banned here, as I mentioned on your own weblog, simply because you lie without remorse, fall back on childish ad hominem attacks given half the chance, and, in the end, never provide anything to a discussion except hate and standard trolling tactics. You have your own webspace to use for those pathetic habits – you will not use mine.
