as promised, so delivered

Ok, my "studio" sucks (considering it is little more than my bookshelves covered with a white sheet, it is no wonder), my lighting is atrocious (various fluorescent and incandescent lights, casting shades I would hesitate to call "white"), and I am not Oleg Volk (much to my detriment). That said, here are the promised pictures of my brand-spanking new Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM II.

Behold, all of the new toys:

A closeup of the pertinent detail:

Trying to play with perspective, and failing miserably:

And, for those concerned, the bottom part of the VLTOR quadrail is removable, leaving the top and side rails intact:

That is about the best I can do folks, sorry. Next up might be an illustration of all of the potential future accessories for this bad boy, but that might just get me in trouble with Better Half... Should probably hold off on that bit.

Oof. Considering I hand-shot all of those images, and used a flash in each and every one of them to boot, something tells me I need a little education. I do believe I will be revisiting this subject in the future, once I have my technique ironed out. Or once I have a technique. Either way :).

Thanks for the visit and the comment. Certainly was not expecting either.
