... to get y'all's attention. Open trackback post, at your service... primarily to check to see if trackbacks are working properly yet.

Update: Judging from the Technorati Reactions to this post, trackbacks are still jacked up. As such, TCode has been temporarily disabled. If you experienced any trackback problems previously, please resend them. If you have not yet trackbacked, please give it a shot. Just trying to make this work for you all...

It seems as though they tried to use the shortcut to see what your trackback was. I tried it that way, and haloscan did not accept it. Then I clicked on it, and voila! Maybe if you publish your trackback with your article it would make it easier for those of us who are slower. ;)

No worries, Rosemary. Maybe I should make it bold or something, to make it stand out a little better.

You mention that Haloscan did not take the trackback address... are you using Linkfest? In that case, could you explain exactly what is breaking? This whole problem is somewhat frustrating to me, because I have no way of testing it myself - all of my trackbacks work by definition. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Yes, I am using Linkfest. They have you down as a trackback that could not be found, but they did also offer a link to your site so that we could check for ourselves. They are good about that. I think what they did was right-click on your trackback, because so many sites have that feature. Try it yourself, and you will find that you get a different trackback than the one that actually works. I'm a person that doesn't give up. If I put their site on my post, I will use their URL to make sure I trackback somehow. After all, it's only fair, right? :)

Hm... thanks for the information. This may be a byproduct of me having the TCode plugin running when I submitted this post to the OTB system, and then turning it off afterwards. Oh well. Just have to republish the entire site, and hope that future OTBs are not stricken with the same problems.

At any rate, you are quite right - it is only fair, and thanks for going the extra mile!
