I know I have been relatively silent of late, but if you get the chance, definitely visit the DemandDebate webpage. What is this interestingly-named site concerned with? Well, as taken from their front page:
Educating and empowering students and parents to eliminate bias in environmental education.
If there is one thing the “global warming” cultists do not want, it is further debate on the topic – with continued conversations, there stands a greater chance that their questionable methods, dubious data, and far-from-sound conclusions will be shown the light of day… or, even better, the door. And, once thoroughly debunked, then how will they perpetuate their funding, much less their deathgrip on modern American society? After all, while “big oil” is blamed for 90% of the anti-”global warming” information out there, “global warming” itself is far from a non-profit enterprise itself, and God alone knows how many environmentalists are perpetuating the myth of a “consensus” on “global warming” just to continue their funding… just as they are accusing “global warming“-debunkers of doing with “big oil”.
At any rate, this webpage appears to be dedicated to providing interested schools, parents, students, and teachers the tools and information necessary to teach both sides of the “global warming” debate, as opposed to exclusively teaching the apocalyptic teachings of people who’s specious theories are being hailed as Word-of-God facts. It is still being fleshed out, but, hell, the t-shirts alone are worth stopping by, and might be worth a purchase once I get some discretionary income under my belt…
It is through thorough, careful, and continuous testing and examination that scientific theories become scientific realities. Simply declaring a scientific debate over does not make it so, and only proves the indefensible position of the group making the claim. Furthering honest, forthright debates on the topic of “global warming” can only serve to better educate people in the falsifications and intentional misinterpretations it is frought with, and I can hardly see anything wrong with that.
